Donald Joseph Qualls also known as DJ Qualls in America is an American actor and producer. The actor gained fame following his performance as a character in Road Trip. Since then the actor has been in 20 feature films, such including The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. In addition, he has appeared in Breaking Bad Supernatural, Scrubs as well as The Lost Law & Order, and numerous others. Qualls survived Hodgkin's Lymphoma. It was discovered when he turned 14 years of age. Following two years of treatment the cancer was cured. But the treatment in such a short time left severe impact on his body and thwarted his development. Security in the financial realm was his primary goal once he got started, as he'd seen poverty all through his childhood. I've lived such a low-cost lifestyle for so long I have been able to enjoy that financial security or my life feels uncontrollable for me he said in an interview. The man also recalls his youth to inspire him. "Cruelty makes me cry," he said. On and off film, DJ's character would love to be a father. But he admits Directors don't choose me for those roles. In the future, he'd love to have a kid to allow him to devote less time on his career to more attention to the child.
